The BTA is a member association whose mission is to help and support all providers and suppliers of publicly accessible toilets to achieve the highest levels of provision, cleanliness and hygiene - including a special focus on accessibility issues. Since its inception the BTA has forged numerous working partnerships with disability charities and industry professionals to campaign and lobby for the retention of these essential local facilities. It is a board member of BSI, BCC, Changing Places Consortium and the World Toilet Organisation.
