The Manchester Cleaning Show took place on 11-12 April 2018 at EventCity and thousands of attendees descended on Manchester to view the latest products and services exhibitors had to offer. Exhibitors were pleased with the quantity and quality of the visitors and are already looking forward to London 2019 and Manchester 2020.
In total we had 2411 attendees attending over two days – a 4.5 % increase on the inaugural Manchester Cleaning Show figures in 2016. The attendance featured 65 professionals attending from 19 countries overseas including a delegation of from the Chinese Wuhan Cleaning Industry Association who were hosted by the CSSA.
The visitors were from two sectors: specific cleaning professionals who made up 64% of the visitors (mainly contact cleaners 27% and distributors 12%) and other professionals totalling 34% including 10% from the education sector, 7% from hospitals/healthcare and care homes and 9.5% from hospitality/leisure and retail.
The seminar sessions were well attended and focused on 'Leading the Industry towards a prosperous future', 'Future Ready Workshops', 'Health & Safety Workshops' and 'Promoting your business workshops'.
Terry 'Turbo' Burrows was at The Manchester Cleaning Show encouraging attendees to take part in the Window Cleaning Challenge. There were lots of entries but unfortunately no one fast enough to beat Terry! Take a look at the Window Cleaning Challenge page to see who was the quickest on the day.
