Head of Stress Policy, Health and Work Programme at Health & Safety Executive
Rob is responsible for driving forward action to tackle ill health in respect of work-related stress as a priority within HSE’s new Health and Work programme. This will be achieved through collaboration with industry stakeholders and the wider health and safety community, under the auspices of HSE’s new system strategy, Helping Great Britain Work Well.
Rob joined HSE from ACAS in 2010, where he was Area Director responsible for advisory and dispute resolution services in North West England. During his time at ACAS he spent two years on attachment to the North West Regional Development Agency, promoting effective leadership and management in employment relations, and was the ACAS representative on the BIS review of employee engagement, commonly known as the MacLeod Report: Engaging for Success.
