The UK Cleaning Sector in 2025 – an update from the British Cleaning Council
The British Cleaning Council offers a ‘State of the Nation’ update on everything impacting the UK cleaning sector.
During this keynote presentation, the British Cleaning Council (BCC) will unveil two major industry initiatives and updates on its work. Delia Cannings will launch a new website bringing together in one place for the first time details of the UK cleaning and hygiene industry’s career development opportunities.
This online, one stop shop will enable users to easily find out about the training they need to succeed in the industry. Delia will also unveil a key industry document, the BCC’s 2025 research report on the cleaning, hygiene and waste sector, which will be packed with the latest facts and figures about the industry. She will also update the audience on the BCC’s work over the last 12 months and discuss upcoming highlights.

Delia Cannings, is Chair of the British Cleaning Council (BCC) and also National Lead for Education and Training for the Association of Healthcare Cleaning Professionals (ahcp), an examiner for the Cleaning Science Degree programmes with Northampton University and founder and owner of Environmental Excellence Training and Development Ltd.
Delia was awarded the Queen's Anniversary Prize for education and training within the industry.
