Keynote: Must Hygiene Paper be White to be Hygienic?
Paper products play an important role in our daily lives, from packaging to office supplies and sanitary paper. As environmental awareness grows, understanding the sustainability of these products is becoming increasingly important. In this presentation, Lindie Feuler and Stephan Poppe from WEPA Professional look at the sustainability of tissue paper - from its origins to its impact on the planet. In particular, they will focus on paper made from recycled fibre and examine its environmental benefits. They will explain the hygiene of products made from recycled fibre and why hygiene is an underestimated pillar of sustainability. They will also discuss why hand washing plays a major role in preventing illness.

Dr Stephan Poppe, Lead Disinfection and Hygiene (SP) at WEPA Professional, has held many different positions in the field of disinfection and hygiene.
His experience ranges from the development of disinfectants to medical product testing and the production and development of disinfection wipes. Sustainability is a key focus, supported by the pioneering spirit and enthusiasm at WEPA.
