Immigration Compliance Enforcement at Home Office
Chris Edwards began his career in 1996 stamping passports as an Immigration Officer at Terminal 3, Heathrow Airport. He transferred to West London Enforcement in 2001 and has been based there ever since.
His role has changed through promotions to Chief Immigration Officer, Inspector and recently as Assistant Director for West London. He has also worked in Beijing when seconded to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and has presented to the Home Affairs Select Committee regarding the role of Immigration Arrest Teams.
